Productivity Success

I see people becoming successful everyday: developing their skills, following their dreams, gaining clarity on their passions, increasing their productivity, and getting out of life what they truly want. Being a person who observes others for a living and who tries to figure out what makes their magic happen, I crafted this list:

  1. Listen to your inner self.

You know the path you want to take. Getting feedback from others is valuable. However, if their words are not in alignment with what you know to be your direction, then stay the course on your path. Misplaced comments by others who may not know the full context has derailed many dreams.

  1. Focus on abundance.

Abundance is truly an easier path. Visualize the life you want through intention, focused energy and faith.  Steer clear of those who struggle with the abundance concept. You want to attract other like-minded abundant thinkers and doers.

  1. Learn the achievable steps.

Your big dreams and goals will happen if you are working toward them every day.  To do that, you will find it useful to map out all the achievable steps.  Take each one and plan the length of time that it will take you, feel what it will be like when you achieve it, think of it as already done, and be sure to celebrate along the way.

  1. Tune into the timing meter.

Sometimes the timing is right, and sometimes the timing is off.   Consider the opportunities that come your way and take the steps you are being guided to take, whether you understand the reasons why or not.     Be patient.

  1. Know that you are much more than what you do.

You have created a life so far based on many experiences, lessons and relationships.   Put things in perspective and know that you could create your life again and again.    Your life is something you have made “happen” due to focus, intention, and your vision.    You will continue to grow from more experiences, lessons and relationships.  Actively seek them.

  1. Know your “Power of Who”.

Bob Beaudine, author of the book “Power of Who”, says that you know all the people you need to know.   The 100 people in your life who you know you, know your strengths and abilities are just waiting to help you … but you must ask.  Get the book.  It puts the concept of “your network” in a powerful light.

  1. Keep an open mind to possibilities.

Put simply, don’t let your ego get in the way.   Catch yourself on your limiting beliefs.

  1. Be grateful for all that you have.

Keep a gratitude journal. It helps you to have an open heart and receive what will come your way.    It is okay to ask for more because it is part of your next step for growth.

  1. Accept the “stuff” that is going to happen.

Stuff happens.  How you react to it is what matters.   Take more “stuff” in stride.  Minimize the drama.    It doesn’t serve you.

  1. Remember that your self-talk affects you.

Everything begins with our thoughts.   Blaming yourself will not let you achieve greatness.    Take time to think about what you think about.
